Abs has been cutting in for no reason for a while, tonight on the motorway i was cruising quite fast for a while... then ABS, SERV lights came on. Restarted car on motorway sliproad and lights still on. tested the brakes and lets say that the ABS defiantely isnt working :evil: .

Anyone tried one of these. i am in a hard water area and it really annoys me when i just rinse the car off and it gets limescale spots all over... looks dirtier than before i washed it!!!
last year there was a red 2.0 valver, a blue gdi'd valver, and my green 1.4 mk2.

If you put a resistance on the two end pins of the grey plug the display works and shows a temperature.
1k3 ohm resistor shows 43°C...

excellent edde. only thing is my car doesnt have a temp sensor i wanted to fit one from scratch. i dont think there are any green or brown wires connected at the moment!!

you need one wire from the temp sender
one wire from gauge to earth
and one to a switched +ve so it powers off the key.
ive got an oil temp gauge i never fitted if you want it. £15 and ill post it too
though the mod to use the external temp readout would...
oh and if anyone knows the resistance it needs to display certain temps ill whip the dash off and try adn fool it into displaying a temp before i buy the new mirror!

i know that the wire goes to one of the pins on the red plug behind the clock/display.
anyone know which pin the sensor goes to. i guess that you need to connect it to a ground somewhere too...
