Could just renamed the file from .rtf to .doc and it'll open in Word.
Doesn't work for all files but RTF and Doc files open in the same application so will probably open fine.
Picked up the One at the weekend and wow, I am hugely impressed with everything about it so far. I'm not a huge gamer but I did like a blast on Forza or a good first person shooter.
So picked up Forza 5 which is epic, Wolfenstein which is actually pretty good fun and has some similarities to...
Looks good mate.
I have a 225 Trophy as my daily car and had a couple of niggles but overall, mechanically its sound and a cracking drive.
Any more details on yours mate?
16gb just isn't enough when you look at how much space some apps and photos use let alone iOS updates!
That said the A8X chip and 2gb of memory the Air 2 has over the Air 1 means it's performance give the 2 a fair bit more longevity than the 1!
It wasn't so much iOS 7 that was the problem but the iPad 3's additional processing speed over the iPad 2 was absorbed by it having to power the retina display. So on benchmark tests it sometimes performed slower than the iPad 2, hence the iPad 4 coming out 7 months after the 3's release.
Of...
Had something similar on my iPad that it kept ringing once I'd answered a call on my iPhone. I put it down to the iPad being a bit slow.
Either way, I turned all that sh!t off. I want my iPhone for phone calls!!! lol
Last thing I want to do is accidentally answer a phone call whilst browsing...
Yeah I thought they looked pretty classy, admittedly they look clean and neat. Only thing is I'm assuming they've tried to bring it in line with iOS8 but the icons aren't the same shapes so it kinda doesn't work for me! lol
Updated my iMac last night, took a bit longer to download the my laptop but I did that later in the evening so was only 10 minutes to download.
Haven't tested the new OS fully but not sure I'm sold on the Fisher Price icons!
Downloaded and installed it last night on my Macbook, not had a chance to test it yet though, only briefly saw the different looking dock. Will do the same on my iMac tonight and have a proper play about with it.
The Mini 3 really is a 'meh' moment, purely updated so it falls in line with the current range all having touch ID. Only good thing is that the iPad Mini 2 is a bargain and still relevant. Thinking of getting my mum one for Xmas to replace her Nexus 7.
The iPad Air 2 on the other hand looks...
Certainly considering an upgrade from my iPad 3 to the Air 2, definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
The iPad Mini 3 is a bit of a farce though, the only difference is the Touch ID! I know it brings the products in line with each other but hardly a huge innovation. The Mini 2 is a bargain now...
Physically it would fit in my pocket, I'm no beardy hipster tw*t but the normal 6 is more pocket sized.
Don't blame anyone for going for the 6+, it's a nice bit of kit and kinda gives you the best of tablet and phone.
Two of the guys I work with ordered the 6+ by default purely because it's the biggest phone.
Tested out the 6 and the Plus in store and the 6 is just a bit oversized. If you don't use a tablet then I guess it can offer the best of everything but I commute by train, want my phone to fit in my...
Battery life is significantly better on the 6 to the 5 as that's exactly the upgrade I've done.
I sit on the train for 30 minutes and sit browsing the web, Facebook, TapaTalk, send a few texts and all that. Battery life on my 5 could drop down to 70% by the time I got into the office. I would...
You do have to laugh at how much hate and how protective people are about what is basically just a phone!!! haha
I've had an iPhone 4, a 5 and now a 6 and I've always considered them fairly fragile devices. The 4 had a glass back and front, without a cover, one drop and the screen will break...
I've still got a 4 which I switched on last night for the first time in ages, was plugged into my Mac and did the iOS8 update. Animations on it are quicker on 8 than they were on 7, which was a surprise. Still a useable phone all be it not lightning quick.
I'm the same, very happy with my 6 so far. Just got it all restored from all the stuff on my 5. The size from the 5 to 6 is a nice jump, far more noticeable than the 4 to the 5.
I wasn't fussed by the 6 Plus as I never found the 5 undersized so the Plus didn't take my fancy anyway. Saw it in...
Well I just got my 6 (not plus) today so looking forward to firing it up when I get home. :)
As for bending iPhone 6 Plus' well in one breath you have to wonder that if you buy a 6-7" long phone, that's only 7mm thick, unless it's made of seriously strong stuff, it's going to bend if you're not...
I've used car covers for years and never had any problems at all. I wouldn't be without one as my cars don't move very often.
Try CoverYourCar.co.uk for some good covers and brilliant customer service.
Absolutely love the F40, have done since I was a kid and it came out as a Micromachine. (which I still have!)
Also, I saw the first one I've seen on the road on Sunday whilst driving down the M4. Seemed smaller on the road than when I've seen it static but amazing car.
I like stripes on an RB 182 personally. I like the contrast of the white against the blue and I like the heritage behind it.
Just don't buy them from Renault. The stripes on the 133 and 200 Gordini models had embossed G's on them, goes some way to explain the ludicrous price. The stripes on the...
Bit of an update on the Trophy.
The matt carbon wrap on the bonnet had started to perish badly, I know it had been on the car for at least 5 years but the car had been garaged for the last few years at least so I guess the wrap held up well because of it. Well in the 7 months I've had the car...
I'm usually due an upgrade around the time of the new model (September/October) so I'll see what's what with the iPhone 6.
I'm not phased about having a physically bigger phone but it would be nice if they made the screen bigger within the same dimensions. I like the dimensions of the iPhone 5...
I haven't been to one of the breakfast meets this year but have done most of them for the previous two years or so. Always a good blast down there (I'm up near Caterham) and they're usually a good morning regardless of the theme.
Very tempted by the hot hatch one, would head down in the Trophy. :)
