It's the white spoiler and mirrors that add a bit too much white. I quite like the fog light surrounds and the stripes obviously.
Thing is it's this bit that makes all the difference.
Feels far more like a Clio 172 in terms of the leather seats and toys compared to the function but...
It's the interior that one me over though. Well it's got the RS interior the normal 133 should of had in my opinion.
Personally if I were to change the styling, I'd minimise some of the white bits on the outside.
Well I got a new camera for my birthday so thought I'd test it out on the Gordini.
For the detailing people, the car was recently polished with Dodo Juice Need for Speed and currently has a layer of Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Pro. The wheels were sealed with Chemical Guys Wheel Guard...
If anyone is interested, I just wanted to offer an invite to ClioSport.net people to our trip to the Goodwood Breakfast Meet next Sunday, May the 1st.
It's going to be an early one but it's well worth it. This months meet is 'Supercar Sunday' so there should be some awesome machines turning...
Have to say the way they take off is impressive.
Although, I don't think I'd ever use launch control on my car if I had it on my car. It's not exactly sympathetic on the car. For example the RS Megane Phase IIs had launch control as standard. Only thing is that it feathers the clutch so too...
It's just so easy to do, you have a look round and think 'Ooooh I'll have some of that'. It arrives and you don't get round to trying it! lol
Nice one on the Zymol, can't say I've used their waxes before. Thing is, again I've got about 5 unopened pots of wax I've not started using yet! haha.
DW is superb for info and actually being a nice forum in general.
Have heard Z8 is good stuff, will probably invest at some point. Just tend to find myself buying things and not using other products I've got sitting in my cupboard.
I bought it to give it a shot and was really impressed. Seems to add something to the finish. Even on top of waxes like Finishkare or Collinite which are more hard wearing than adding an extra glossy finish.
Take it you're on Detailing World?
Car looks good mate, looks like a good cleaning/detailing routine you have going on as well.
I'm actually a big fan of Dodo Juice products although tend to only use them on the Megane.
OUt of interest, have you used Red Mist?
They do have a more modified look although I'm quite a fan of the whole, polished face look. It was either blue or black and either look modified but the blue matches the paintwork.
Quite interesting how the car divides opinion. Better than an average motor that people like by default. lol
It's fair enough mate, people will always prefer either of them. The white one is more purposeful looking and does look great. If the Gordini hadn't been released then it would have been my choice.
Thing is although the Gordini has a few bits I probably wouldn't have done, like the white...
The Lupo was a great car, had a new manifold, exhaust and induction kit. Was noisy but was making about 115bhp so pretty good for a 1.4 and quick enough as they only weigh about 1050kg.
Thing is, Lupos need to be low to look their best. This was running on KW coilovers which handled brilliants...
