Jesus, just been reading a few of these horror storys, like the one about the girl who was punched in the face as two car jackers jumped her and her boyfriend in a car park.
Tasar guns need to be made legal in this country as an acceptable form of self defence, or - big f***-off cattle prods.
Actually, now I think about it the ad was reeling off SE London dealerships so I guess it's not a nation wide freebie. Still, should prove to be popular.
I was at the dentist this morning and heard on the radio that Renault is offering free MOTs and servicing this weekend only on all makes and models.
Anyone else aware of this or was it just the anesthetic effecting my hearing?
They are really hard to get back in, but basically...
The mirrors pop out when pushed too far forwards (towards the front of the car). If you place the mirror back in the mount in a forward position, so it's almost 180-degress from being closed against the window. Now, pay attention to the...
I have just replaced my washer jet motor after it displayed odd behaviour, similar to yours, before packing up altogether. It's cheap enough to replace and very easy to fit.
I guess it depends on what you consider to be important when looking for a drivers car (which for me is anything that doesn't squeak, rattle or leak). Perhaps I'll treat myself to a track day for my next birthday and make up my own mind on this one.
True. True. Totally agree on the affordability side. I was going to say that surely a 430 Scud would blitz a Trophy, even through the twisties, but we're heading into pointless argument territory.
I think the Porche faithful will probably have a few thinsg to say about this list. They always...
Now, I have never driven 99.9% of the cars featured in this top 100 (and I know that at the end of the day it's just the opinion of journalists, albit highly respected one's in this case) but placing a 2.0 Litre Trophy ahead of a 4.3 Litre 560 bhp V8 Ferrari 430 Scuderia in a drivers car list is...
I received a recall letter when I first bought my car back in 2007. I still haven't taken it in, but ensure it's serviced regularly.
I'm more scared of Renault poking around under the bonnet than I am of the catch failing at high speed.
Slightly off topic, but I was watching ChopShop on Discovery last night - the episode where they modified a FWD Golf to accomodate a Subaru 4WD engine/gearbox - anyone done a similar job on a Clio? I guess the Clio TT is the nearest?
Hi
The other day I noticed a Ford Fiesta (parked at Bluewater in Kent) with its bonnet raised about an inch at the top end and therefore no longer flush to the wing panels or bulk head. Is this just a broken bonnet or some form of mod? My initial reaction was that it presented a security risk...
I came back from the cinema to find a nice big black marker pen line all the way along my driver side - front to back. Thanfully, its polished off with ease, but what's the point in doing it? This came 2 month's after my wing mirrors where removed in the dark hours by some nice kind person.
