rotary switch. just had mine replaced under warranty. its the thing that connects the wires to the steering wheel and turns independently to stop the wires getting tangled.

Just to update - after being with reno for 2 days my car emerged all nice and clean with TWO new shocks!! Apparently the other one was leaking aswell, so they just replaced it while they were at it. All warranty work which was good! Then had a puncture. But at least it was easily repaired!

Theyre standard Cup shocks, and the car is completely standard. I phoned reno and the guy was surprisingly helpful, even offering to get it in this afternoon! he said it would be warranty, and he would make sure it was Cup stuff that got ordered. 182-blue, at first i thought it was something...

Hi, Went round a few corners sideways yesterday and presumed the road was greasy. But these were standard corners at 30mph. Parked up and looked the car over, everything fine. Until I looked much closer (i.e. prodded) the tyres to discover one was completely flat! Now I check my car over...

ive fitted a tow bar to my mates 172 and it tows fine. bumper off job, but relatively simple. a place local to me (indespension) said you could get a swan neck tow bar for the 182, so one of these days ill go down and get them to show me!

..is tomorrow morning. My car is going in to get the faulty engine temp sensor looked at which in turn affects the idle speed of the car. Now my only worry is that as the problem is one which only appears after the car has either pulled away from a standstill at a decent speed, or you rip it...

Ive noticed my 182 is having a few problems with the idle speed and the temp guage. The car sometimes idles at 2k after being driven normally and up to operating temperature, and obviously this is not right. Also, the temp guage goes from being normal (just above middle) to cold while driving...

i was very pleased with motorpoint, from the start to the finish of buying my 182, although i would polish your car with its first wash as they only wash them and it would be good for protection for the winter. hope she enjoys it!

my dads volvo t5 does it, its just the power throught the wheels when theres no grip, kinda bangs a little!

It just depends on what garage you go to. I went into one locally and the guy TOLD me i couldnt afford the insurance and led me towards a 1.2 Dynamique! I called a few other places and found one and they let me drive it (182). Good luck and dont rip it too early or theyll make you go back to...
