Cheers Liam, if that is the case, I need to test this on an unsuspecting victim. Someone who happens to fall asleep in the passenger seat... someone who wakes up after around 3 mins... someone who then craps themselves after setting the alarm off... hmm maybe not such a good idea then...

I have this problem all the time, like you said, theres no pattern to it. I believe what it means is that the internal sensors arent armed - just like if you flip the ignition on/off twice and then get 4 beeps. I need to have my alarm checked I think. Has anyone who gets the 3 beeps tried...

As I have 9 points, the only comment I got was, you must be mad buying that! Oh, and, its a good job you didnt get a V6. But I have noticed the ol 182 turns soooo many more heads when its just had a wash & "shamy". Dont usually get 2nd glances as I always gone by the time they turn back. ;)

It does take the p!ss tho when you see a "safety camera unit" van hiding on a bridge looking over a straight dual carriage way with no junctions on it. Does it get more safe than that? Yet they are just waiting for a chance to give you points and a fine. Dont get me wrong I am all for speed...
