Maybe theres room for an faq per car that people can add their mods too with a rough price? Then perhaps others can put their feedback against each item? Might be a useful guide... Or as you all said, hit the search button first...

Something like put the key in, turn it so the electrics come on, off, on, off take key out. Get out of the car arm alarm, and it should give 4 beeps. This means the internal ultrasonics are not armed only the other parts of the system.
