So do i... but after a closer look i dont think there are any heating elements What i saw was the supporting springs and the loose connection made me think it was heaters. Sorry.
Hi. Anyone have heated seats in their 172 mk1/mk2s? My car has the heating element installed under the seats but they are not connected!!?? Strange. I live in Sweden so heated seats are quit nice in the winter. I have to wear a glove on my right hand beacause the gearknob is so f...ing cold.

Got a best time of 9.882 with a 60-foot of 2.345. My car is standard except BMC panel filter. Anyone have an idea what time i would have in 1/4 mile? Was faster then a 200hp Audi A4 ,Skoda Octavia RS and a 190hp Honda Civic. Great fun!!

Just talked to my brother and he explained it a bit more precise. This can be difficult to explain in a easy way because English is not my own language.
The engnine mounts/cushions allow the engnine to flex, the mechanic that fixed my car loosend(spelling?) the screws at the cushions, by doing...
Hi VR6Man.
I made an input the last time you brought this subject up, remember?
When i got this problem solved i did not have to pay. Maybe it´s because my brother is a salesman at volvo/Renault but that should not make a differnce.
Don´t think you need any new parts because the problem is...

I have ordered a Laser/Jetex Cup Racer exhaust aswell but it´s just the backbox, right??
Joe. Any need to worry if you have a BMC replacement filter in the standard box?
Some interesting specs never displayed on atleast Renault Sweden homepage.
At the heart of this exciting hot-hatch is a potent 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine developed by Renaults motorsport arm, Renault Sport. The base engine used in the development of the Clio Renault Sport was the F4R...

The Super L are lightweight indeed. Think the 17" are 4.9kg without tyre. The standard 15" OZ on my MK1 are 15.7kg with tyre. The wightloss should give you a slight improvement in performance.

when i picked it up the first time the guy at Renault told me the car was fine, but ofcourse it wasnt. It was worse. The only thing they had done was to change egninemounts/cushions. I returned the car and they adjusted the egnine position and knocking noise was gone.

When i bought my MK1 172 i had all the typical problems. Knocking under acceleration, leaking boot....
The knocking noise came from the downpipe hitting something due to torque under acceleratin. Renault adjusted the egninemounts to get the downpipe as for away as possible from what...
