mechanical pump runs all time when engines running (obviously) but depending on engine/water temp the elec pump will run when engine is not running and ignition off!
as above the elec pump mentioned is a perculation motor/pump
as far as i can remeber no clio has a elec water pump - Mk1 clio diesels have elec pas pumps!

Any tips on getting rid of the noisy creaking sunroof as well? Its so loud!
this can be sorted aswell if you visit your local dealer - the noise is traced to incorrect postioning of the frame against the roof panel and a roof cross member missing a piece of rubber stripping!
there is a fix for that if you wish to take it into your reno dealer!!!
if not do it yourself - which is to pull the cap down off of the bottom left hand side of the dash to reveal a 13mm nut, remove this nut, you will need another 16mm nut (i think) about 8-10mm thick, pull the bottom of the...
its due to the coherence of brake pedal status against brake pressure!!
all it needs is setting the adjustment of the brake pedal switch (when brake lights come on there should be a pressure of 1-3bar - - they where reading i think 5-10 bar < which is wrong)
how many pre outs does your headunit have???

my valver is all Alpine - head unit has 3 sets of pre-outs front rear and sub!
so i have two sets of rcas going to a alpine 4 channel amp for front and rear , then the sub output goes direct to...

there should be a special tool that fits between the metal braket and the rubber luggs to postion the mount in the correct place (give equal distance of gaps between the rubber and metal)
should be not so bad to fit - where the bonnet release cable goes through the bulkhead (goes through a biggish grommet) route it through there and then seal the wires us to make sure its water tight!

yes this is the problem on early 172s and cups they have fitted a incorrectly sized high pressure powersteering pipe!! your renault dealer should know about it as it was on a technical bulletin!!
