I did mine, at the end of the day everyone knows the RS inlets have poor matching, turbo, super charged or n/a makes no difference there still poorly matched, for what it costs, which is nothing compared to what a turbo convertion costs just get it dOne.

Money on the Dephaser pulley instead, water pumps rarely fail and there not driven by the cambelt

Throttle pedal or throttle bodies are usually to blame, electrical contact cleaner on my pedal plug sorted my problem.
I am a "pro mechanic" and I paid to have it done, stick to what you know, if you don't know f4r and it's timing/cambelt procedure don't touch it, o how I wish it was a k series ;)
Depends which direction your thinking of going tuning wise, I don't think you will get it done cheaper than £600, that money could be put towards something else.
I'm sure removing the engine/box is easier up and out of the engine bay? Saves messing about with subframe etc, and is the alternator $hagged because there is no tensioner?
