It's one thing having the conversion done it's another repairing it when it goes wrong, mine has a slight detting problem that neither Paul at RStuning, me or stevieh could work out, I'm putting it down to cylinder pressure and going to forge it over winter, even with this problem mine has not...
What people are failing to realise is that this car left the factory without a turbo, removing boost pipe and stopping boost entering the engine turns it into a rich running f4r, if mine developed a misfire I wouldnt blame the turbo conversion, there are still basics to be checked, if where...
Disconnect boost pipe from inlet manifold (cancelling out turbo conversion) does it still misfire? Plugs, leads, coil pack or injector could be faulty failing all of above maybe carry out compression test.
ive been working on cars for over 13 years, i know its not connected!!! im refering to your lumpy running, and also the belt wrapping round the crank pulley is an example!!! if yours is still running clearly this did not happen to you, if its running get your aux belt (kit) replaced done.
im sure there is a guide on here? basically you need positve distribusion block connect all the positive leads to this and run a 0awg cable to the boot and earth the battery there. sure there will be examples on the internet to assist you.
if connects2 dont do it chances are you wont find one, your only option really is a radio signal unit, you set the unit to 88.3 fm as an example, then tune your headunit to the same, used to be crap but new ones are getting better, connects2 list them.
If you think it costs alot to do personally I would not bother doing it, you need to consider running costs and when it goes wrong/bang you will need to spend more money.
