I'm about as smooth as JD from Scrubs (not 'quite' as geeky). I couldn't drive in the 90's, I missed out on making any 'original' comments :(.
Also, I own a Proton = instant failure to impress anyone other than the pension queue.
I'll believe you if you believe me :rasp:
Although having said that, you are north of the border, I don't think 'quiet is a term that could be associated with any of the scottish people I have met.
One thing though, most Scottish people understand me when I talk (I don't think I have a strong...
I think the boot space is decent for the overall size of the car. If you can't fit the bikes in the boot, there's a couple of people who have fitted roof bars.
I am new to the Clio, like you, I was looking for something with decent power that was practical and wouldn't need much attention...
I paid £2 for each tyre that was removed from my white wheels. I kept three of the tyres (one had a sidewall puncture) to sell and they didn't have to dispose of them, but I don't think that would have made any difference at all.
I have been looking for seats and those (the ones in the pic (I am suprised the pic showed at work) in the second post) look very sililar to a set of 'Rage' ones I looked at.
Does the back (or front for that matter, I haven't looked yet) of the standard head unit have an aid input? Sorry if it has been covered before but I'm on my iPod ATM and searching isn't that easy.
Same with Halo (i have COD 2 and 4 but I am pretty crap on those), there's nothing quite like getting your ass handed to you by some squeeky voiced young lad/lass but wiping out a racist, deep south (of america of course) teenager on live just makes worth staying up until 3am and having to get...
As long as it is relatively new then I think they are far more reliable than they used to be.
I work with has had his 'flashed' for over a year and has been playing online a lot.
I have heard (not sure how much truth there is behind it), one reason people get banned is for trying to play...
Cars (or most things) are only worth what someone is willing to pay. If any of the cars in the below link are bought for the money they are advertised at, then they are theoretically 'worth' that much.
Most (96+%) are not private sales and when buying from a garage, you are usually going to...
The max you'd pay for insurance is 2k?? WTF. Never paid more than £1,100.
Keep the 172, save for other things, like the deposit for a house (unless you already have one, or have some evil plan to obtain money for a house/deposit).
I have a 2004 172 and my light is green. Spotted it in the manual as an optimum shift light so checked to see when it came on.
I searched for graphs when I first joined and checked where the power dropped off.
IMO, looking through the RR graphs and seeing where the power is gives you a...
Do these cars have a knock sensor??? I could search and I will if nobody answers, but at the min, I can't be arsed.
I have an Apexi SAFC II currently doing nothing (well, it's sitting in the pooton but that's going nowhere) and could wire it up to see if any knock is recorded.
Will have to clean mine and get some decent pics of it. For now, these (I have so few pis, I have to use one from the autotrader ad) will have to do............
I'm with the post office.
Line rental and broadband for £25 a month and the wireless router is included in the price. Literally just plug it in and connect to it.
Decent speeds and decent call centres. Evening and weekend calls included as well...
