I had my proton insured through Flux and I am pretty sure Highway are the actual insurer. It was pretty heavily modified and they were great.

The car isn't that low normally, I am tiling the bathroom and had some packs of tiles in the boot. The wheels were that colour when I got the car.

I think the boot space is decent for the overall size of the car. If you can't fit the bikes in the boot, there's a couple of people who have fitted roof bars. I am new to the Clio, like you, I was looking for something with decent power that was practical and wouldn't need much attention...

I paid £2 for each tyre that was removed from my white wheels. I kept three of the tyres (one had a sidewall puncture) to sell and they didn't have to dispose of them, but I don't think that would have made any difference at all.
