The F4R has a excellent knocksensor so RON 95 or RON 98 makes no difference... Only in the higher rev's / the F4R sweet spot (VVT) you notice the Premium gasoline. Below 5 thou who cares, you just truddle along. About the idle... new fresh sparkies make a noticeble difference! Pick up is much...

Dunno' mate... the gearknob is glued on. So it can't rattle. If so you could just lift it off. Look on eBay for a nice leather gaitor.

I had this occuring only during the winter... after coldstart and driving off. All levels where fine, guess it must have been a sensor fault.
