well I'm stood outside a store in London, got here 20 minutes ago and there's probably 20 people in front of me...damn g33ks!
Wish this PhoneSaber app was louder cause I'd Jedi them all! ;)
Ehm, I figured it was just the OE update file which would install over the top. Turned out it wasn't and I wiped the damn thing :(
Pain in the arse though, had so mny freaking photo's on there!
Speaking of which how the mince do you take an image of your iphone, or back it up entirely?
Oh...
FOR F*CKS SAKE!
I just updated my phone with this, and now realised it's fking wiped the whole thing...all my texts, numbers, photos (gutted) the fking lot!
So hacked off with that, guessing there's no way of magically reverting back to my previous settings so I'm fked!
I'll be queuing tomorrow too :)
Just hope they release some improvements over the appstore regarding MMS and Cut N Paste, and that they're free given they're so trivial these days.
Saw some leaked pictures of the Blackberry Thunder today, and I have to say it looks very promising.
iPhone is still far from perfect, I hate the fact it needs 'hacking' to make it even remotely open platform wise. Seems with the new one we'll all have to wait for it to be hacked and use the Toolchain so we can use apps we want to use. Also a shame you have to pay $99 to make your own apps -...
Indeed, the only times this is useful are the times you don't want to log the user off - i.e remote working via Citrix or similar.
No real workaround for it that I know of, looking at some solutions now and as I type am installing Scriptlogic Desktop Authority onto my test domain, looks good...
2008 is notably quicker in pretty much everything from what I can gather on our test domain here, Hypervisor rocks too :)
Also noticed a big jump going from SQL2000 > 2005, so a combination of both should be pretty sweet.
These are Live CD's (as per title), there's a wider variety of normal PS3 Linux distro's though:
Ubuntu is probably your best starting point:

Ah, no in that case. You'd need to install it properly (not use a Live CD) and I've no idea if they would even work on the PS3, KDF might know mind.
That's a plugin called AIGLX:

Debian Live:

Gentoo Live:

Not tried Gentoo version, but Debian works fine on mine.
Googled that error and it came back with a shed load of stuff:
This seems quite interesting, it points to firewall issues:

Googles many articles on it...
Longy can you clarify exactly what it says please when it dumps people out of it?
Is there any way you could hook it upto MSDE/SQL2000 and trial it also?
*Edit*
Ok, does it give any hex code or error code along side it?
That from Event Viewer?
Been having a little sniff around, and spoke to one of the DBA's here and he suggested it maybe an ODBC issue. I'd also advise looking at the below link as I too have had issues with AutoClose before.

Right, I'd suggest running some monitoring software and see if that detects anything while you're troubleshooting it. I'll have a look around for some answers.
What programs/db's you running on it?
Developing the above idea, does this only happen when a certain number of users are logged in? Can a single user stay on overnight?
Post SP2 limits TCP connections to 50, but you can increase that limit with a hacked TCPIP.sys file, and registry changes, it's well documented.
Personally I'd...
Yeah I understand that, but the kit lens doesn't have VR. Personally the last thing I wanted to do was buy a 18-55 VR lens after shelling out for a camera as a beginner, the only other lens I got was the 55-200VR which was a good lens.
Thankfully now I can use £50 Minolta lens off eBay, which...
I'm no D.Bailey but taking shots with the A200 at night in the city (i.e bright lights) is easier than I found it with the D40. Most of the D40 shots I took in Oslo meant bracing myself or lying the camera down, with the Sony taking freestanding shots is possible.
