I've owned both:
Nikon D40:
Body feels much nicer, more comfortable IMO to hold. No IS meaning unless you're using a tripod and fast glass that dusk/night shots are near on impossible. Expensive lenses due to no focus motor in the body, limits choice of lenses substancially. No Prime lenses...
Yeah you can do it already David on most devices, but the iPhones lends itself to it nicely due to the large screen (too small on a BB).

Yep, every message goes through the NOC despite having a BES server, why they don't have global resilience I've no idea - but when it's down it's down.
Points I'm relying upon are:

I've just read that The Cloud and BT Openzone will both be fully available from launch and that there's talk of them forming a huge Mesh Network across London with Brum/Manc/MK/Leeds to follow.
Could be good, but no clue how they'll manage to...
What a load of sh*te that is.
So for being an existing customer basically we get exactly the same deal as everybody else with no further reduction on the handset.
They let us upgrade free to a new 18month contract, how very thoughtful of them.
Shall just be getting the 8GB on my existing...
Sigh...
You asked if it works, the answer is fundamentally YES it works.
I then went on to say it takes (around) 5 minutes for a video of similar length, which is the fact of the matter.
Why ask the question if you're already trying to jump down peoples throats for answering you. Go get...
