Re: iphone appstore must haves?
In what sense?
I assume you mean not being able to use it on a non-wifi connection? On a Jailbroken phone you can use a tool to trick it into thinking you're on a Wifi network. I can understand the telco's placing restrictions on it though, unlimited data...
Sure if you subscribe to hype. Good film, but best in a long time?
I bought Waltz with Bashir yesterday which looks great on BD, and is a fantastic film. Wall-E also looks great on BD.
So are they running locally as power users? or (god forbid) local administrators?
Haven't come across any situation where you'd need to grant install permissions to any users on an unlimited basis.
Well as an IT bod, its more a 'tool' for us. Don't see why it resembles an issue unless your users have permissions to install software, which I'm sure they don't.
Plus it's easy enough to manually block.
Just been messing around this Opera Turbo, just so happens it bypasses both our Websense and Messagelabs proxy, farking awesome ;)
Caches eveything on request and delivers it via opera.labs with some compression. The surprising thing is it also seems to deliver video via the same caching...
Be worth making a backup of your config file, and then reflashing the firmware with the latest edition for your router.
For your iPhone niggle, I'd suggest setting your router to one specific mode (802.11G), and not mixed mode (B,G,N), you can also try manually switching to another channel from...
You don't need any cmd/console knowledge to run it. Takes all of 5 minutes to get it running, just do a network discovery of your domain, or have it query a DC and jobs a gooden. Rest is GUI.
You just download the VMplayer and run the .vmx I have it sat on a test domain here, though we use (an inferior) WhatsupGold product by IPswitch on our production environment.
I have the DZ260, good system for the price (£150), but if I had the cash at the time I'd have gone for the IS10 in a heartbeat, it's simply awesome.
IIRC the rear speakers on the IS10 are wireless? Oh and under £300, where at?

Speakers are literally the size of a 50p (seriously) and they pump out fantastic sound.
Apple TV is pretty limited unless you hack it though, right?
I like the fact it's an all-in-one solution for many useful functions, great bit of kit in fact.

Blu-Ray round-up, PS3 comes out pretty well.
Then it does indeed from that photo look pap.
Where's the fogs, and front diffuser though, it maybe a 200, but comparing it to the Geneva shots It doesn't look the finished article.
Love the new designs of both cars, but in particular the Megane, a real step forward. The new Clio tohugh is also much better looking than the 197.
Be interesting to see how they price them, tough market.
