Fingerprint = No hope :)
Not enough demand for the added cost, while it's being squared upto blackberry the introduction of certificate based security is enough.
Thinner = No Hope :(
3G means more battery drain, which also means a larger battery unless they want to end up with an N95...
Youtube will work on EDGE, but simply due to the data limits you're looking at a 5 miute wait for compressed version of something of 3-5 minutes long. Personally I've used it 2/3 times on EDGE and wouldn't goto the trouble of waiting for it, unless I were desperate to show something.
As for...
Yeah same here, best phone I've owned. But as per Sneeks post, I wish they'd hurry up and release the damned V2 software. I want VPN and exchange mail ability.
Used RDM Plus on it the other day to remotely view my PC screen at work, pretty good, albeit a little slow over WIFI.
Thinking of...
Wizbit, trouble is in a corp environment no domain is going to be majority Mac. I used to work for a publishing company and by nature we had 2 design departments of Macs, obviously the rest of the business was PC based.
It was only part of the problem, the rest is down to shortcomings of Mac...
Great picture there.
Yeah been loking for a decent tele/zoom lens for not much money so far:
Tamron 70-300 / Meant to be cheapo quality, ok pics at longer length, soft elsewhere.
Sigma 70-300 apo / Great upto 200mm, good quality, heavy, soft at 250-300.
Minolta 70-210 'Beercan' / Meant to be...
Aye, supposedly a lot of major improvements over the 100. Hoping it'll be a nice camera to work with and learn some more :)
Just looking at a 70-300 Sigma on eBay that I fancy, reviews seem ok given it's going cheaply!
Just bought one of these, anybody else got one?
I bought it after upgrading from my D40, heard good things about the Sony so thought I'd give it a punt.
Biggest plus is the IS, and the motor being in the body instead of needing to buy the expensive AF-S Nikkor lenses. As they work on the A...
Yeah...except Apple can't make any decent infrastructure. And that using them in any enterprise situation is a non-starter. They're crap in a network situation.
Nothing but problems supporting them on a mixed domain, binding them to domain and a single sign-on authentication was always a pain...
AVG8 = Crap.
Did a spyware scan and it missed a load of stuff on my Mrs PC that thankfully Spyware Terminator found anf removed successfully.
Also feels slow, bloated, intensive and bloody intrusive. Seems to me that they've gone down the Norton/McAfee path and instead of just giving you a...
From your spec and price point and haing just been in the market recently for a lappy, I'd recommend the Acer 6920G for you:

Best site for looking at lappies would be - http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk
I suggest you speak to your IT department, that's just down to either dodg hardware, some sort of half arsed image process or a wider issue. PC can and should run any Adobe software all day long.
I'm on neither 'bus' but it's not like Macs are immune somehow to kernel panics and crashing...

Super-3G sounds awesome if they could ever get that running. I'll perhaps have to get myself one of these :)
I'd be vary wary about reformatting and then carrying across too many files, find out more information on the virus and check to see if it propogates or infects any particular files or file types - last thing you want is a new infection.
Try turning off system restore.
Boot into safe-mode.
Run...
Ok, narrowed down my laptop to two possible laptops:
1. Vaio TZ31 VN/X

2. Vaio SZ71 VN/X...
HP/Cisco is what dominates our server rooms.
Just implementing a Mittel VOIP system with Corebridge for 145k, it's the b****cks really. Went to Tower42 to meet with Cisco 2 weeks ago, tbh I was really disappointed with their half baked efforts at VOIP.
Had 3com Officeconnect at my old place...
