The shift-light is either something the marketing department came up with, or its for those who need to be told what to do next once their car is bouncing off the rev-limiter.
It was useless in the V6, and its useless in the 182. Thankfully its blocked out by my momo now :)
After owning a ph1 V6 with a mk1 interior, I'd never go back to it. I know the cup hasn't got many toys, but the quality of the material is much improved and has a nicer ambiance.

Btw, good launching. The day I went down there in my V6 it was spin city :(
Would a 215/35/17 tyre have the same rolling radius as a 205/45/16? If so, and the wheel itself is lighter (such as an oz superlegga), the only downside would a harsher ride....no loss of acceleration, no crap over-wheeled handling?
