Yes, bit of a pain to get all the wires to the amp though (assuming its in the boot). Can't remember which wire can be used for the remote, but its definitely possible.
I realise that, but I was using it to backup your point:
Lightweight nimble cars ..... small wheels
Heavy powerful cars ..... large wheels
Obviously there are exceptions to the rule.
The slipstreams are a lovely looking wheel, but because they have a large lip with recessed spokes...
Imo, it's difficult to find 16" wheels that give the large(ish) apperance of the original 172 & 182 alloys, which I believe is down to the design of the spokes being so flat-facing. Even the turini's look slighty smaller.
Caterhams don't have 13" wheels for nothing though!
Since the 17" superleggy's weigh so much less than the OEM 182 alloys, would there be a handling deficiency associated with the change? (Assume that both wheels/tyres are the same width)
Also, can someone post some pics of anthracite leggy's please!
Oh no, not this conversation again! ;)
There are 3 cats. Two on downpipes (small pre-cats) and one large post-cat where the 2 exits link together before going to the silencer.
Unless you are planning to chip the car, there aren't many gains to be had from decatting the car, considering the...
lol @ silvervisions. C'mon guys, I'm talking of mods that non-cliosporters might notice too ;)
Just done a little search on Apex, and the general consensus is that they're too harsh and will possibly make your shocks leak...although they do lower more than most springs.
If Apex are...
I see that Apex also do a -60mm spring....isn't that pushing it a bit considering its still on standard shocks. Has anyone lowered their clio by 60mm in this way (and lived to tell the tale!)?
^^^^ I have thrown one into the boot (literally, secured by straps!) of my 182. Its only an IDQ10, but the sound quality is tight and musical and the excursion is just silly....can move out more than an inch!
