you can get adaptors or build one, is the reason that you want to as you dont want to throw them away as you have a boot build and you dont want speakers sharing enlosures (sub and 6*9 interaction). If so, my advise would be, see the 6*9s and buy a pair of comps, a decnet pair if you can spend...
11 liters??? or is that 1.1? Why not just mount a normal sub arse out, or is that against thestealth thing
Ive just got the momo polk comps (Mm455) and they are really good, only critism is a little trebly(sp). Ive heard that the DLS range are quite good, and i was advised on something...
to tell the truth, to do a good job, and if your rewireing them, as i think you should, its allot eaiser, and it will be a better final result if you remove the dash
Rorrie
IMO - get an alpine HU, sony is expensive for what you get, well the new stuff.
It was put like this once
"youll get better SQ from poking a + and - wire into a fresh dog turd than you would out of the sony"
"make sure its fresh or it will be the same SQ as the sony though"
Spend it...
Oh rich_m i have one critisim, you have speakers in the parcel shelf, and a sub in the boot, this means that the speakers in the parcels shelf are using the boot as an enclosure while you have sub doing the same, you will get some bass cancelation going on, as well as the seakers in the parcel...
the PG will be good, il just wait for the next thread, on the next part of your system! if it doesnt come il be surprised that you avoided the ice bug, i started wiht looking for a sony md hu, ended up spending well over a grand, but getting about 3 grands worth of system!!
See you soon...
yer thats a good HU, either that or the new version of the 7894rb (what i have) alpine.
MBs are good, or try DLS, ive heard allot of good things about these.
Why get an active sub? get a 4channel amp, run the fronts and the sub, it will be better.
Just a bit of advice, spend allot more on the fronts than rears. Say £150 on fronts and £60 on rears. I personally think you should just get some coaxils for the rear, if you insist on rears, as it make everything so much simplier, due to instalation of tweets ect.
Is it really worht getting...
What i did was cut the carpet out exactly, even the bit that go underthe luggage bar (dont know what its called the bit to stop stuff flying forward), took this off, then put the wood down the bar back on top so it was clamed (didnt want to go drilling and gluing) and then built the supports for...
yer there ok, cheap, customer service is to be disired!!, but add on postage
Can i just say, dont get alpine spearkers, they make very good HU - i have the 7894rb. but get a diiferent make of comps, and you dont really need rear fill IMO, and you can getter for your money than pioneer subs...

What i really meant is how do they know who to make a member, or do they give me a new user name? as i dont want my post count to go back to 0
well these new induction kits are great!! I dont know why he bothered though, there is this new stuff out in USA called gumgo (or something like that) juice, put 2 bottles in your tank, and it adds 20-30 bhp!!! for only £10.

12 will go lower ect, 10 will be faster, so better for fast beats like dance music, were as 12s are slower doent matter for hip hop ect as slower beats but often lower.
I just removed the dash, rewired the tweets and mids, and cut the old tweet pods out, and removed the tweet covers and mounted the new tweets in these holes. Sounds like a lot of work but well worht it IMO.
But yer they do twist off, its hard enough with the dash out but if you put two pins in...
