sure ive seen a lead somewhere that is just wires on an iso? cant seem to find one though, will prob just do the above. Ill re-solder it all.

My current Head unit is soldered directly onto the wires as it was pre iso! I am going to but a new HU and was wondering how i should connect it, should i just but a clio iso adaptor and cut the clio end off. or is there an easier way? (mk1 btw) Cheers J

my budget is 300 ish but am flexible. im wanting to get a hu that is easily ipod'able i.e alpine or pioneer with interfaces. Do you think i should put my spare amp on the fronts then? Any more reccomindations?

in the pic:- 1 - bit to bolt old seat belt socket to 2 - old standard seat subframe complete with rusty bolts 3 - new cobra adaption frame that seats bolt directly to the mk2 frames should have a bit for seatbelt id think. oh and youll be able to get frames from whoever you get the seats.

the socket is attached to the old subframe but if you get a tailored frame from cobra, these have a bit for the socket to bolt on. i put 2daytonas in my mk1phase2 and used the standard belts. the frame cobra do for the mk1 are adaption frames and i had to take part of the seat out and bolt the...

I am thinkin about getting a valver engine for my mk1 phase2. What else would i need apart from engine, wiring loom and brakes? Also which is cheaper/better valver or gtturbo conversion? My dads a mechanic so gonna diy it. Cheers. MJ
