It was just a comment the shine moves accross to the tread when cornering hard. Some track days will ask you to take it off..

Had some advise on tyre shine and its is like putting oil on your tyres, not good for driving hard (as the side walls flex) as the grip will disapear....

I have one to, needed to up-grade brakes and suspension due to power they produce. Still couldnt put the power down, the Clio is not built for such power leave well alone............

I had the smae issue and resolved it by moving the clamp bolts to the left and doing the exhaust mount mod to raise the system. Magnex on a phase one very heavy.

Two great 'show cars', 5 years ago people bought magazines with these cars on the front and flocked to car shows to see wide archs, smoothed extreme kits on cars. Things have changed but a car that is built and put together fantasically demands respect. You may not want t drive the car but hey...

Just been trying to buy plugs myself and found out Clio 172's have top of the range Platium plugs (£16 a piece). Which means you only need a set every 30k or so.

I thought a piece of wood would be needed to support the sump and gear box and spread the weight. anybody got any tips i.e. top mount first etc to make it easier. I assume changing all of them is the way forward to do the job properly.
