how come you got the side trim colour coded and not the front as well?
get the front done asap makes such a difference! heres a pic for reference!

quite a good photoshop i thought!
yeh like everyone else has already said, lower and colour code next :D
oh, and sell those rear clusters on eBay and put the good ones back on with silver vision indi bulbs (y)
I think you would need some kind of wiring adaptor in order to keep the steering remote controls
whats a cassette?
the standard hu would power a set of 6x9s i would think, whether it would sound any good is another thing altogether!
Id wait till you can afford a good quality hu...
its weird there was no speaker!!!
---------------
not that weird, not all clios came with 6 speaker stereos as standard!
mite be a case of running a new set of wires from headunit to rear doorcards, im 100% sure people on here have done the same in the past...
pull off the rear speaker...
not bolted mine down incase i need to get at the spare wheel, just strapped it down nice n tight with bungees not moved an inch since
i bought the exact same box, and used the "sloping back" as the bottom, so the sub is tilted upwards at you as you open the boot
good question...
maybe its part of the amps built in prtection that when you switch off, it actually powers off really slowly thus leaving the power led to fade off in time, only explanation i have right now
longest ive had the amp on for, not playing anything thru it just on is about 3...
thats the thing, ive not left it on to test if it drains the battery, dont have a charger in the garage
the only way to make the light go off is to remove the amp fuse, maybe this particular model of amp is meant to have a led thats permanently lit, but its not mentioned in the manual
Right, theres maybe a simple explanation to this...
the power light on my amp is constantly on despite the amp being off from the remote, so when the ignition is off and the keys out of the car, the amp light stays on even tho I here the bump noise that lets me know the amp is off??
am I...
thats the same power cable I have, same colour, and coming out the same place lol :D
i kept mine seperate,, and also the phono cable i have is a 3metre one and i needed to take the shortest route to the boot so i had some slack to move the amp round in the boot, always good sein how others...
the wiring under my dynamique seats is dodgy too, if you move it around various lights come on n then go off on the dashboard, like sometimes the airbag light will come on, but if you move the wires under the seat a bit, the light goes off... weird... not looked for any connectors on mine, think...
if you lift up the back seats, the carpet stops halfway under them, you can lift this up and just about grab the wire to pull it all the way through; then replace the carpet and put the seat bottoms back in

thats the phono cable running from...
THats not such a good idea, the sub box will vibrate the amps internals possibly causing damage
-------------------------------
it rests on little rubbers to reduce direct vibrations, but i dont think it would do any damage as they are designed to withstand vibration. no problems as yet...
ive got a power cable running frmo my battery through the passenger footwell and tucked down under the side trim, runs upto the backseat, underneath that and into the boot to the amp.
connect the remote power lead and phono inputs to the headunit first, then feed the wires down thru the hole...
