Good thread ! I am thinking about changing my alarm, the only problem i have, is in the summer, gets really hot and the alarm goes off, light on dash says a door is opened :/

I dont have one, but just get the best you can afford, to be honest, i would only get those Disc Locks that completely surround the sterring wheel, the ones that just go though and over the horn can be used as leaverage to pry it off

I am fed up with this now, alrm still goes off even now The hot sun sets it off when i drive off, the "car door open" light is on, ventually goes off after it cooling down, im wondering if its the sensors on the doors, if its an alarm problem im thinking of changeing the alarm

good find, i checked euro car parts on the cheapest ones and they are £20 each! so thsese are excellent price in comparison! Are these ok on Standard pads with just normal driving? my miles to work is on 5-10 ! cheers

strange, but mine has been fine over the last 2 or 3 days now

had another listen etc, and tbh, i dont think the fuel pump is priming, also as i drive in cold, i change gear and its like it doesent want to go again, once warmed up , problems have gone the only way to start it in the mornings is to, use a little bit of throttle to get it going ?

Halfords didnt have any carb cleaner for the throttle body but i bought some cleaner for the foam induction kit, and gave that a good clean today. still had a problem starting just after trying it just now. I kept an eye on the revs and the needle was moving between 1000 and 1100 all the...

Hi all Had my car just over a year now, and it was fine all winter, now the car wont start, the only way i can start it, is to use the throttle, i dont have to use a lot of throttle though Car turns over but just doesent start, im sure the fuel pump does prime, but i will have another listen...

I had this last year and im sure people were saying "deactivate the internal sensors" but when i do that the alarm still goes off due to the heat. Any ideas?

might be due to the heat, i get lights come on when its this hot!
