Fitting 17" wheels onto 1.2 Clio

I think we all have seen pictures of a 1.2 on some random 17s. You can't tell me that you like the look!?

    Bench testing a lambda sensor??

Second lambda sensor will not affect running. It's only task is to monitor the catalytic converter efficiency.

    Miss Fire - Deep Joy!!

Injector is another option. Check the spark plug on the misfiring cylinder. If it's pretty dark compared to the others, coil or lead is shot. If it's very light coloured your injector is gone.

    Miss Fire - Deep Joy!!

Pull one lead at a time. When the idle doesn't change, you'll know which cylinder is misfiring.

    172 Cup - Norfolk - Thoughts/Suggestions?

Looks good but needs a set of Eibach sportlines. The "ready-for-take-off" rake on cups is really awkward. Keep the wheels silver btw.

    Miss Fire - Deep Joy!!

Leads or coilpack. Had the same on a 1.2 a few days ago. Low down misfiring, upper range fine. Is the idle rougher as usual?

    How low should i go?

    As low as possible. It's just a 1.2 ;)

changing stock air filter to a k&n

Sound ridiculous on a 1.2. Had a K&N kit on my 1.2, funny for a few days. Then it gets annoying.

To you. It's kind of hooked in on the bottom.

    Only with camber bolts then.

    correct steering values

Camber not adjustable on your car? Looks fine apart from the camber on the front left wheel.

Think i have the wheels But What Off Set

Trophy Turini offset is around 45 afaik. So 30mm would be the nearest to that. But they'll stick out by around 15mm. Have a look at Speedline Challenge's. Similar design but looking a chunk more awesome imo.

    Whiteland RARB

    Instant death.
  22. mr.pink87

    rough idea

Front: 1.5° negative camber and about 5 minutes toe out. Rear: keep it as it is.

    Black MK2 182 Alloys on my MK3?

RS grill, coilovers. Done! Looks smart as it is though.

    Black MK2 182 Alloys on my MK3?

Probably only looking good when spaced out and lowered. What colour is your MK3?

    Cold running problems. Again!!

Coolant temperature sensor working fine? New dephaser shouldn't make any problems. Did you get the engine oil changed? Dephaser solenoid could be faulty but i doubt that.

    Black MK2 182 Alloys on my MK3?

Try them and post a pic.

Do you get a fault code with the coil pack is on its way out?

Excessive misfiring due to a shot coilpack will trigger the EML and a stored fault code.
