Re: The End Might Be Nigh... my guess would be that they used a different colour primer. eg if the car was white primered and they used either a black or grey it would appear darker than the car.

the only differences between the d40 and d40x are the megapixels, the d40x has 3fps shooting instead of 2.5 and the iso settings are from 100-1600 instead of 200-1600

ive shot with my D40 and my sisters D40x and i cant tell the difference until you start zooming in stupid deep.
