I think Jonesy´s engine is the evo-version of the D7F which has the catalyst directly at the engine (and not at the floor) and a lelectric throttle.

Oliver
The K&N Kit looks also fine, but it is an open system.....

but if you have already an electric throttle than the sound isn´t that much impressive. I prefer more keeping the original filter position (use a replacement filter)...

The biggest version of your 1,1l (C1E) is the 1,6l (C3L). C-engine family goes from 1,0l to 1,6l.

there are also other photos existing...

Hey man, I´m waiting also on your result (Megane throttle...:D) then we can compare...
I can´t tell you the diameter, I simply ordered now (It´s of the Laguna 2,0l 16V F4R engine with about 140hp) and then I will see what I get. The price here in Germany is €162,- incl. VAT.
regards, Oliver
I hope that the F4R throttle has a bigger dia, but will fit without mods.
So maybe some more power at high rpm, reprogramming is certainly necessary, otherwise angle and area will not fit together anymore.
Oliver
thanks for your advice, but it is hard to find these special F4R, because it is the old one with mechanical connection between pedal and throttle and not electric one.
I was thinking that maybe someone here in the forum is working in a garage an has this as spare part in stock and could...
Hello perhaps somebody can help me:
Who knows the difference of the diameters of these two throttle-housings.
One is for the 1,6l 16V engine the other one for the 2,0l 16V engine.
The one for the 2,0l 16V engine should be bigger…..but I want to know how much it is.
Thanks
1,6l 16V...
I think put a 1,6 16V in a Mk2 is not so big action, only front brakes have to be upgraded, the drums at the rear can stay.
But put a 1.6 16V in a Mk1 is more action necessary, because you need to modify a lot....I did it with my Clio Mk1...but now it´s unique and with its small modifications...

I want to let make some stickers for my Clio. For this I´m looking for a good photo / picture of the the "GORDINI" emblem like you can find it on old R8 Gordinis. If sombody would have one please mail me or post it.

Has somebody already installed the rear shock absorbers of a Citroen Saxo VTS on a Clio Mk1?

I like the additional spring.....
I think it should fit, but you´ll have two problems to handle (the same I had with K4M)
1. You have to lift the right upper engine mount about 20mm (I did it by using a aluminium block)
2. The original 4 in 1 exhaust manifold is running between subframe and the flor, so that there is not...
Shell V-power with 100 octane! It´s the replacement for optimax here in germany.

Yeah, take a replacement filter, remove the cold/warm air switch and attach a 3,75 inch hose directly to your filterhousing. Let the other end of the hose suck between radiator (remove the small plastic part) and the headlamp, like this....
