Had the same dilemma about a month ago. Settled for the Conti 5's, as the 3's have been discontinued. Can't fault them, excellent tyre. As Gorms said, the AD08's are excellent as I had them on a track car, but can't comment on a road car. I didn't go for them, as the only reason being the...
On the painted wheels it looks awful, on the Rota's it's passable. I quite like it. It great to be different, so carry on! Maybe a VAG car would have been a better choice as you could have picked up a MK3 for peanuts.
Snapped brake cable and calipers not releasing properly? Just a guess. I managed to snap one on mine. No knocking but slowly slowly speeds the wheel dragged along the floor. Smelt hot, lots of dust and a scored disc.
there's nothing wrong with a 350d. It's a perfect starter camera IMO. Most of everything you said he's not going to understand. You shouldn't use live view for DSLR anyway. Also with an iPhone 5, you're lucky if it turns on, let alone get decent pics with it.
Canon 350D is a perfect starter camera. Anywhere between £100-£200 quid will get you one. Up to the £200 mark you should be getting extra lenses and flash cards, batteries etc etc
The snow foam I've used but I couldn't get it to foam at all. I had it in a detergent bottle attached to a jet wash. You can get a fitment that goes straight on the DW container a fit direct to just a hose. Tried both and they were both crap. It might work with an actual foam lance though. The...
What an odd thing to say :/ Not sure what you mean.......erm ok?
Thanks :) I'm a wealth of knowledge. Unfortuately I wasn't born with a Renault stamped on my arse and forehead. We all have to learn somewhere.....this forum doesn't seem the place as one person says on thing and another...
The cup chassis option lowers and stiffens the suspension 3mm and 15 per cent, a quicker steering rack and 18in gloss black alloy wheels wrapped in stickier Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres although it does look like they just paint the calipers......Renault are getting tight?
Nope but you know if you turned up on this forum with a non cup chassis 200 you get raped for it. Favourite quote on here is "pauper spec". It's not just red caliper paint, it's brembos, suspension drop, stiffer ARB bushes.
On here somewhere, would explain why you got a new pedal (<---knew I spelt it wrong the first time, I blame you) box on yours. It's going to Ashford Renault and a guy from here is taking care of it so hoping it'll be painless. If not I've got a courtesy car I'll be selling parts from in the new...
Me too. Clutch feels fine and there's no slip. I've heard rumours about the clutch being slightly engaged when the peddle is released.....it would be nice to have a reason to why the box is bleurgh after 25k as I don't want to replace it again in another few thousand miles.
