Ah okay thought you meant changing the whole thing. Nope changing the blade will be fine. Why not try the AA?? They'd of seen this hundreds of times. You aren't the first the snap a key in the ignition and won't be the last. I'd be trying to get the old busted bit out than changing anything. If...
Pain in the arse to get first when its cold and sometimes grinds into second. Plan is to get it in before it gets any worse and the warranty is still valid. It seems that a lot of people on here have had to argue the point with Renault to get it sorted though. Car only has 25k on it so should be...
I'd rather take the column to bits and get it out than changing over door locks and ignition barrels to be honest. You'll probably find that your remote locking wont work if you change keys and then you may have issues with immobilisers too.
Sold the V5 and ID...surely this makes this car worth scrap value and its uninsurable and broken. Can you re-apply for a V5? How does selling the ID even work actually? Sell V5, number plates and angle grind the chassis numbers out...
I would have thought that the handling would have been more important than the seats tbh. Nice to spend 10k and get told its pauper spec. Maybe I should sell mine and get 3 182's or 4 172's, does that still count as pauper'ish?
Why is it getting slated? I'd love a car like that....one that I can actually park anywhere, eat in, drink in etc and park near the door of Tesco for once rather than parking at the other end of the damn car park as I don't want mine anywhere near other cars. Maybe its not the prettiest car...

what he said. Breaking in a pita. Code readers cost next to nothing. £10-£15 quid and worth it. Lamba sensors are the Bain of most people's lives and aren't that reliable. Could be as simple as just replacing it. Even with a code reader at least you can delete the fault and get up and...
Put it this way fella, K&N have been around for quite some time, so I'm sure their kits don't make cars run lean or blow them up in some other fantastic way. Like hipwell said, the induction noise is already there it's just stuck in a sound deadening box. Take the box off take all the sound...
I don't think the one advertised is the dodgy one. Dodgy one is a 54 plate and that one is 55 registered even though its on private plates.
Dodgy one is 30k miles, one advertised is 40 odd thousand.
It sets its revs at about 3k rpm but as its a turbo I guess it needs it. It does say it doesn't have any lag but surely anything with a turbo has some form of lag. I have a RS 200 so I'm just trying desperately to find reasons why mine is better lol.
I've got the Continental contisportcontact 5 being put on Friday morning. Couldn't fault the conti 3's apart from only doing 10k miles so as these are even better a round, we'll see how they stand up to the 3's
I wouldn't do anything else to it. Looks good the way it is. Just enjoy it for what it is. We've all spent hard earned cash on our first cars and then usually smashed them up lol.
Looks up DanMan thread on his non sport. He pretty much got it spot on. I'll see if I can find a link for you
