Well as we seem to have more wet than dry weather it seems a brighter idea just to stick with the Conti's tbh. Id rather the tyre be great at both conditions rather than fantastic at one type of weather and shocking at another
On total loss they don't supply courtesy cars 99% of the time. This is because it's an undefined time of when you'd get a replacement car. Could take you 4 months to find a car you'd like to buy so are they suppose to supply a car for you for 4 months? That's the kind of thinking behind it.
I...
Can you go wider on standard alloys? Noticed a lot of the tyres available for the 200 were lower profile. Like I need that in my life, with potholes and cup chassis it hurts enough as it is
Considering I've done a set of tyres in 10k miles I'm guessing my driving my crap to be honest. CS3 have been discontinued now and are the 5'a....apparently. I've got CS 3's all round. They are good, just wondered if there's anything better for the same amount of money or cheaper.
I've tried Hancook on another car and couldn't get on with them. Need a try before you buy tyre centre :/ They may have up'ed their game I guess you had any problems with them?
We've currently got the continental contisportcontact 3's all round. They've only lasted 10k miles on the fronts. Loads of tread on the back but fronts need replacing. What are you other 200 drivers using? What would you recommend as a decent tyre?
I've got a MK2 PH1 clio track car. Only 1.6 16v but I've got the opportunity to change the suspension over to 172 cup set up (PH2 172 cup) I can get hubs, wishbones and struts. Will I need driveshafts or anything else?
I've dumped Top Gear for fifth gear. If the TG lads are doing a road trip then I'll watch it, otherwise I don't care about the hyper cars they drive, or care how fast a celeb can drive round a track. I use to like it when they reviewed normal cars. Bores me to tears now. Fith gear is great...
I've always known bluefin as its massive with the Ford lot. ST's and alike mostly go for bluefin so know it and trust it but didn't know they supported renault. Happy days :) Learn something everyday :)
What made you go for the bluefin rather RSTuner? I want to map our 200 but don't know which one to go for. I've neve really noticed a flat spot either :/
They're all lemons these days lol. I would love to try out another Fiesta though. Bang for buck can't beat them.
What are you're next plans with it? Gonna venture underneath the bodykit or staying away?
Main pic they look far too "chromey" but zoom in a dulled down they look better. Anthracite would definiteyl be the way to go. If they're cheap then go for it. If you don't like them after then sell them on. If people want them for a track car they wont be too fussed on them being super ugly ;)
you can't beat the old school Fords, especially the RS! This is what I use to have. I had 4 in total, couldn't get enough of them. Should have put them in a garage and watched the value of them go up. Had a guy lived a few doors up from me and he had a white Fiesta RS and his was brutal...
We were buying a new peugeot 206 (Nissan/Peugeot dealer) went in with the other half and the salesman thought it was a good idea to show us around a pink Micra Convertible. Love heart for an exhaust pipe?? Really!? One slap later and a flick of the wrist, I soon left
