A long time ago, I used a brillo pad very gently to clean a set of OZ Mitos on the advice of a mate who used them regularly to clean the alloys on his Mk2 RS2000. Note the RS2000 wheels were polished the OZs were painted (factory finish).
It looked like it was working well but actually took...
Have a look at this, discussed the other day. I thought mine was terrible at first but it seens to have settled. Ave mpg still showing just over 30 though.
Also, I put ordinary unleaded in the other day as the local garage was out of super. I dont know what the measurable effect on...

Cant fault the handling on mine. Goes round roundabouts etc like its on rails and fast out of roundabouts 2nd gear, no understeer or wheelspin with the pedal flat. It just is fantastic in the dry.
Little bit more nervous in the wet, had that feeling...
My 182 is insured with Brentacre in Swansea 01792 650933.
I am 34 but have no NCB following having a company car. Insurance cost me £800 on a modified car policy with NIG. The car is not modded but this was the cheapest policy for me. It definately covers all of the options on the car and...
Seen at least 4 cups in Swansea, not seen another 182 yet. Have seen another cup, a silver 182 and a new silver V6 in pontypridd though, about 40 miles from me.
V6 looked awesome
So 2 live, maybe a clio costs more I dont know, but when you have a VW specialist who sells and fits and at one point even made his own flatside sliding throttle bodies which worked perfectly, and has tested, fitted and mapped numerous setups and has numerous maps which may need slight...
You are correct that I have to get a manifold, got most of the other bits except injectors and ECU. I am going to try to trade the throttle bodies I have for a new set specifically made for 16v head which bolts straight to the head (no manifold). The place where I got the Jenveys now sells these...
I have bought 45mm Jenvey Throttle bodies for my Golf @ £800, now need programmable ECU which are about £650 for the one I want. Plan to fit myself so maybe add £2-300 for injectors and other bits and pieces but all in for £1700 ish?

Little bit more nervous in the wet, had that feeling where the back goes light but only on/off...
Nice one Rich, and I have to agree that the Racing Blue looks better in the flesh. Was quite a relief when it was delvered as the light blue in the pics is not particularly to my liking.
Thinking about it, maybe a Type R badge would look good on my 182??
Joke okay
I have been fortunate in some respects over the last few years to have a company car as has my wife. We have had new A4 1.9 TDi, 156 Veloce 2.4 JTD, and a Freelander TD4 for 3 year periods each.
I have never owned a renault before and I must say that having lost the company car and bought...
I very sadly have to admit to having a CUP badge and considering sticking it exactly where Dave has stuck that one (if its not photoshopped)
Great minds think alike eh?? 182, Racing Blue, Cup packs, Cup badge...
Just to avoid confusion though, does anybody know if I can get a CUP EXTRA...
Can I stick a badge on my spoiler then as it actually is a CUP spoiler??
Could stick 4 on my suspension but nobody would see them. Would this be a waste of CUP badges??
Got done a couple of years back for over 100, reading was 103 on the VASCAR but the copper must have been in a fantastic mood as he put 96mph on the ticket. He warned me that if I was not insured etc then I would be procecuted for 103mph?? Would like to see him explain this in court!
Anyway...
Cup suspension here, done 2800 miles, lot of motorway commuting and the suspension is not annoying in the least. In far more worrying is the fact that a friend of mine said the ride was just like his Focus Diesel??
