It is dark so I might be wrong, but the cover does not look holed, just marked, but there is definately a small crack in the sump, I have taken the front of the cover off and yopu can see where it is leaking from, give it a wipe and you can see the crack. [Edited by welsh182 on 23 January 2005...

Hasnt gone through the cover, just whacked it hard enough to crack the sump.

It was some brick, I was driving round a sh*tty estate looking for a mates 2003 motocross bike which was nicked a fortnight ago and now this happens.

Had mine since March with no probs at all @nearly 16k. Local dealers are barmy, not a clue when to service, how to do it, what tyres to fit, "yes it does have a spare sir, its in the boot", etc,etc. They do try though and generally try to be polite and helpful. Very pleased with it to date.

Thanks for the reply Jeremy, bet this getting on your nerves now. It could be worth shooting some of the service people at the dealers - save you a lot of time responding to 182 tyre queries.
