Well I figure it'll be more harsh than rubber anyway, and Ive certainly read up on them on here :)
The brace will HAVE to wait for now, but I could get the mounts I guess.....;)
I was seriously considering it, but as I said about harshness as its my daily, and not sure I can stretch to the full kit with brace right now after getting all the other bits :/
If I do end up going for the pms ones it'll have to be mounts only for now, but is it worthit on their own over...
Little update:
Its been a little while coming but I've fitted new rack bushes, ordered some new genuine wishbones with balljoints, new Koni yellows all round, new ARB bushes, and been debating whether to get some Pure top mounts or new OEM ones. I think I'm gonna go with new OEM ones though...
Mine was like that too, it'd sit in different places depending on the previous steering input lol! Now it sits on the pi$$ in the same place regardless!
I ordered myself some of these earlier today too :)
However, if you order the full "kit" (still using Yellows) you get springs too, which I read somewhere, are supplied by H&R, and it only costs £20 more. Even if you don't want to use those springs you can sell them on :)
Well Ive driven it and its definately behaving differently, but now the tracking is way out (It was set before whilst things were obviously moving about) but its "consistantly pulling to the left when braking hard" lol instead of doing whatever it feels like.
Ive ordered some new genuine...
As above, thinking about getting a set of PMS top mounts but cant stretch to the strut brace yet but need to make sure I fit them in the right place so I can add one later if I want to ;) So would need to borrow one to offer it all up!
It sounds like a "linear" noise, if you get me? As in when the rack is sliding in and out,so I dont think it'd be the UJ.
Its a tough one though, as the noise can travel through nearby components too
I noticed my driver's side rear shock had blown about 3months back, oil everywhere, so bought a new pair of cup shocks from an ebay shop (genuine Renault parts).
Upon having the car up on the ramps today to do the rack bushes I noticed the same side shock has once again blown, oil all over it...
Cheers for the replies guys, I figured it out before I came back to read them though, after much swearing lol!!
I managed to get in with a 13mm ratchet spanner from the side (like you suggested^^^) but still whilst laying under the car :) What a pig though...the whole process, for such a...
Lol it does sometimes fall backwards for some reason, must be a broken clip.
Certainly looks "cleaner" now, and maybe my imagination but the road lights up better now ;)
I just used some wet'n'dry and a machine polisher.
Spent a little time on Friday giving me headlights the once over, as they were getting pretty grotty and "cloudy", so here's a few pics :)
Very happy with the results.

Im a bit annoyed that I missed you all, I saw some heading home on the Acle straight on my way up but everyone had just left :( Cant blame you though, it was arctic up there lol!!
I did catch *insert name* with the blue on white wheels guy from Yarmouth for a few mins though, sorry didnt catch...
Is the general feeling staying up there through the evening? I doubt I'll be able to make the early start and convoy, but I will be up there later around 7 I should think :)
Have a look in the East of England forum mate :)
EDIT: Are you Jack Joannou? lol random question, I know some of the A-town lot, think Ive seen you up there before a while back?
