Probably should've checked this before buying and collecting them, but will the standard 197 seats fit in to a non sport straight swap?
Also what's the best way to swap them? Disconnect battery etc.
My 1.2 extreme gets fairly ragged to get up to speed, only do short journeys (6mile each way to work) and I'm sat on about 36... So you must be hammering it, I've never seen lower than 34.
My drivers seat is proper done in, and am able to get some 182 seats for the mk3. Two part question really.
1. What would the size difference position be like?
2. How much hassle would it be fitting them? New rails etc?
Anyone had them on their mk3? Did a search but nothing relevant really came up?
Tempted to buy some seeing as they're 450 quid, but I'm wondering if they're a little too cheap?
I had an 1800 watt sub, and had power, RCA and remote cables all down the passenger side in my mk3, was no interference at all.
Under/behind the glovebox theres a hole that leads to the head unit wiring.
Awesome mate cheers, just wasn't sure if it was as simple as that. What's the customise menu? Is that the one where you scroll through and its like FM/CD etc?
I have put my head unit back to the standard one in my mk3 1.2 as it's a better fit than the pioneer one I had.
Just looking on ebay and not sure which part I need to adapt it to connect an aux cable to play ipod etc.
cheers.
Heard good things, a few of my mates are showing from our club "secta" look for a TT on 3sdm's and a black Leon on air + Bentley wheels.
Or look and Ferraris and all the other common sh*t lol.
I saw too many to remember! Remember being stood next to Joshs clio (white mk3 on Porsche twists), the monaco + willy, an rb over round the gravel and loads more!
Shame the weather was s**t, roll on modified nationals!
