182 seats in to a mk3?

My drivers seat is proper done in, and am able to get some 182 seats for the mk3. Two part question really.

1. What would the size difference position be like?

2. How much hassle would it be fitting them? New rails etc?

they were cheap and I need new seats. But just seen 197 seats in the for sale section so snapping them up!
