Solid state drives, Read somewhere that you can just add them. This true? So you have a spinny HD and a solid drive to or do you have to buy it fitted?And is there software that can turn off the normal drive so its not spinning at all? Does that make sense?

My macbook packed in this week. I have a mastercare plan, through Curry's who then outsource the work to a company called Equinox. I phoned them to book it in and Equinox are meant to phone me to arrange picking it up. Call never came. Phoned and had to book it in again, same thing, no call...
