Did my first one at snetterton last weekend . I loved it - going again next tuesday! Booked it through motorsport vision, they're pretty good to be honest. Its a very fast track, power is a major factor but there are some good corners too where the clio shows its abilities nicely! Lots of run...
Booked onto a novice track day at Snetterton on 26th July. I insure my car through Elephant and they refused to cover me for it, so does anyone know of any alternatives to Competition Car Insurance for single day track day insurance?
Moris are not able to quote at the moment as they are...
Cheers gally. That's what I'm hoping can be done, going to have a good look tonight and take it to body shop. Was just wanting a guestimate for the worse-case scenario...
Thanks. That's about what I thought. Really hoping it can be repaired as I can't afford that at the moment (don't want to make an insurance claim either if it can be avoided)!
Look's like someone had a go at my passenger side door last night - the bottom corner, where the door would meet the back pannel, has been bent out and it looks like the door doesn't seal now. Didn't have much time to check it closely this morning on way to work, so I'm going to have a close...
It's awsome. I'm about 9 hours in, trying to do as many sidequests as possible before I move the main story on. Nothing wrong with the hunting rifle/shotgun long range/short range combination to take out mirelurks!
lumpy idle is normal apparently till it warms up.
Not read your post fully but it sounds like you want to reject the car under the sale of goods act - I think you can do this within a longer period of time than 14 days with motors. Have a look on the telegraphs website, specifically Honest...
cheers for the answers. Munday, that's exactly what my car does so I'm not worried, was just asking in case it was the start of a major problem and because I hadn't noticed it before!
Just a quick question for the experts on here:
Saturday, I took the 182 for a long drive during the day, engine was idling at between 600-800RPM.
Taken it out for, admitedly short drives the past couple of nights and it's been idling at 1,200RPM initially, reducing lumpily to about 1,000 RPM...
I paid £7,050 for an 05 182 FF with 20,000 miles on it 2 months ago from a dealer. Given the state of the market now and assuming you've had the relevant belts done, you might as well keep it.
I have a 37" plasma screen panasonic, think it had a slightly different reference to that one - it's got a very good picture and decent sound quality, and I think that the image is actually getting better now I've had it a few months although that might just be me! I've got cable, no HD, so it...
Looks sweet mate.
I'm still trying to find a mo to get some pics of mine up. Took the front splitter off at the weekend, don't think I'm going to replace it as it will inevitably be smashed immediately on my drive. Will just keep the replacement and fit it if/when I move or come to selling...
agreed, but I live in a part of london which appears to be classed as "high risk" and I've only got 1 years no claim bonus. My girlfriend's 1996 escort was over £400 last year!
Russ_182 makes a valid point - remember also that you will be pretty much forced by the insurance company to have a big excess (mine's £600) so the only time you will probably use the policy is if you write the car off.
If it were my money, I'd wait a couple more years. If it's someone else's...
I'm not sure how a lot of people younger than me afford a 182 to be honest - I'm 26, insurance is still over £800 for the year and the actual car was around 7K. I didn't earn the sort of money to have that amount of spare cash available in any of my previous jobs!
But if I'm classed as an...
I've PM'd you, but re the splitter - I can't modify the car in any way because the insurance premium is high enough already! But as long as the replacement has the same specs, the insurance co doesn't care, so I've gone for a streamlinecarbon one (www.streamlinecarbon.com), which comes in 2...
Hello all
Having talked about it for a year or so, I finally bought a clio 182, FF, at the weekend - HN05HKO if anyone is interested. It's in mint condition, only done 20,000 miles and the dealer had it priced up on autotrader at much less than it should've been. I absolutely love it! :D...
