else you could try welding them together and do away with the connector altogether...this is what my local renault agent here in singapore did for me FOC...
will16v, lemme know what you think of the brembo max plus ebcs...im running the same for my 02 1.4 16v and i find them a little bit loud when braking hard from hi speed...is that normal since they are slotted?
anyone know?
am not actually gonna change to the normal hoses right now...the existing ones are only 1 year old so they should still be in good nick...
when should they be changed?
anyways, have decided against the braided hoses for time being...
thanks for all the advice...
complete front and rears with bleeding and replacing of brake fluid will cost me singapore $300 which is around UKP110...is that expensive?
i am inclined not to go for it cos a bit skint but could still afford it if push comes to shove...cars only 1 year old though...
my driving patterns...
hallo there...
have possibility of getting a set of steel braided brake hoses for my 1.4L my02 clio...set of 4 for front and back...
the question i have is, is it worth putting em in for basically normal on-road driving...not like a maniac...;)
it aint that cheap here in singapore so i...
yep yep...i know mine were warped and they had the same juddering feel thru the brake pedal and was definitely not ABS...now that ive change the discs...aint no juddering anymore...
rik, no worries there...you can lower 35 to 40 without damaging the shox but in longer terms they WILL wear out quicker than if you remain at normal ride height...and with the lowering, you will tend to feel every crack, bump, pebble on the road...at hi speeds, it is a bit more floaty...
think ill have to give up that dream...already have a body kit and it aint a widebody...to put in the spoiler would be to unbalance the look...plus freight of the stuff to singapore would be quite frightening indeed...
bobrte...hi there...
my cars a dec 2001 1.4M 16v...had actually been feeling quite a lot of feedback thru the brake pedal in the last few months...there is no feedback thru the steering wheel...thot it was warped front discs so i had them replaced 2 days ago with a set of aftermarket brembo...
