Yeah you can run it without the CAF mate. I only have mine pointing at my BMC sometimes.
I got this CAF and its top notch... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300231465369 Really strong plastic but still easily bendable. Just have to get the correct size for your BMC.
I have one on the focus... Just had to measure the pipe coming from the engine to the airbox.
That says outer diameter so you'd have to measure the inside of the pipe.
You can get reducers and other bits for them aswell if those sizes above are to small/big
I had the clutch changed about 4 months ago though. The garage that did it says that you have to request to have the bearing changed as the clutch comes in 3 parts now and not as a whole unit
Been to 2 garages today and theyre saying its not the clutch release bearing cause the noise would be when i've got the clutch pressed in if its that but they couldn't really tell me what it was 'cos the sound isnt all the time.
Any other ideas??
I've got a bit of a rattling noise coming from the front when the clutch is disengaged and when i engage the clutch it goes again.
I dont have any problems with selecting a gear or anything so im hoping its nothing in that region.
Any ideas?? My mate mentioned clutch release bearing??
Cheers
Right think im going to give this ago soem time this weekend. Is it just a case of rubbing it on the scratched area until the product has completely gone??
