No probs. Thermostat was pretty cheap <£20 iirc and easy to change, worth a try. Mine use to drop when coasting off the gas, but only slightly. Find a hill too find out maybe :)

Any issues with the water temp sensor? Temp gauge staying in the same place? The thermostat went on my 172 and I've heard of a few water temp sensors going which affects the mpg.

My went up for the first time this year, from £460 > £480 :) Still pretty good on the Meg with me 26 and mrs 24, protected ncb with directline.

Nah, I didn't get it out on track. It was just a last minute thing and I believe the places sold out a few weeks ago. Also good point, it get dirty, think about all the brake dust :) Need to get a bike trackday booked up though.... Yeah the was real, horrible wheels. Was being driving...

Take one out for a drive, i'm sure you'll enjoy it. I loved my 172, but really enjoy how the Megane drives and the chassis.

Took a few sunny pics of the Megane at a trackday at Castle Combe last friday. Also some very nice cars there for the weekend from the Britcar championship...

Not much point speaking to the warranty company, as its a wear and tear item. Both belts should have been changed a long time ago.

Michelin Primacy last very well and the grip is more than good enough for the road and fast driving. I had them on my 172.

I'd just pay the tow cost and get it towed home. Even if it does start, the last thing you want is for it cut out again in the middle if nowhere on a fast b-road.

Everyone is so helpfull... lol Don't blame you, if you can do it legally why not go flat out. You can get it done no problem, but it's labour involved to get the box out which is pricey.

Superb car there. Looks spot on with the wheels and ride height. What's the spec? TV/Sat Nav?? Did it have the 19's? I have decided that I'll have one as my next car and what surprises me even more, is that I convertible too... and I don't like convertibles.

Loving bikes there... even though crusier's aren't my cup of tea. Most have only done about 100miles. I saw the big man briefly walk out of the office, but he was gone after that. I think the Ducati franchise was a suprise.

Not damage but you will have no ABS. I guess you don't have a rings on at the moment then? The lights should go out once everything is as it should be.

Check it topped up and if so, it probably is the above. Does it do it still do when warm or does it go out when revved?

Have you check the oil level?

Could be a ball-joint/lower suspenison arm bushes.
