The VFR sounds very tidy in that case and your getting up together. I had a dog of a NC30 really, but she got to work everyday through in the winters.
Still miss sound of the V4 and how you can chuck them into a corner, especially considering they aren't that light.
Looking good there. Harris hanger for the exhaust, then get rid of the rear footpegs.
Nice to find a VFR with an uncut exhaust system for change.
How's the chain adjuster on it? Mine was shagged, £200+ for a new one too.
I sold an un-cut back section for £200 a few years back.... Hard to...
Jesus I have never had it that bad.
TBH I normally go up about 10-11 once all the queues have gone and just drive into the Quarry car park and find somewhere to park. As there are always a few that move there cars for the track sessions.
I normally go as it only about 10miles from my house.
When the weather is good, it's good day out.
One of Castle Coombe's biggest days of the year.
Been there probably 25 times at event days and have been fine with parking and never got stuck. Just get there at a reasonable time and don't...
I reckon £6,999, with a good trade in price, from a renault dealer is pretty good for 55 plate with 12k on the clock.
See if he can get a couple of hundred more of of free service and it's a good buy.
I paid £49 a tyre from mytyres when I had me 172, for GSD3's.
I really rate them, and find wet grip very good. I'm going for a set of F1 asymmetric next week on the Megane
If you didn't have to pay the £10 a month I would.
But as I don't have sky movies or sky sports, i'll only being watching the superbikes on eurosport HD and Sky1 HD really.
Didn't they use to charge £10 for sky+??? Hopefully the HD cost will go also.
Bought mine through off here - http://shinyautos.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=205
The chap is on Meganesport.net, so I paid less than this.
I'm not keen on it really.
Fronts too high by miles and the backend is massive.
It may grow on me though and I'd decide when I see the new RS.
Only a couple more months till we'll see what it will actaully look like.
Great cars and Fords are always really easy to drive.
I'm going to go for a early MK3 TDCI later on this year, for my mileage cruncher.
Can't knock my current mk2 mondeo.
The Vee gets so much traction off the line and always make good launches.
^^^ I'm sure the Megane is still in 4th at that speed and so would a 1*2.
They very even cars in a straight line I would of thought, remapped the R26R would give it an cheap advantage though.
Yep red or black.
I think the R26.R looks awesome and well sorted hardcore hot-hatch for sub £19k.
All this talk about exiges etc, they are a different league. Running costs, usability and reliable?
People on here are always saying how on track the 1*2 is great value fun, which they are...
Lovely colour.
My old neighbour still have theirs from new in 2003. Also has a GTA plate on it.
No major problems, had the masive caliper upgrade.
Immobilser messed up a few times and the exhausts plating lasted about a year.
Drank alot of oil running it in also.
MPG seems to be about...
Dan Off topic.. But what was that chaps name with the Golf (not naming the company), who does the dent removal.
Saw him on the ringroad last crashed into the back of Metro...
Thats Dean, I went to school with him.
It was a 52 Plate with around 20k on the clock and he has had it for about a year.
Think it had only be serviced once or twice and also no cambelt change. I know he wanted the money for work on his house.
The little b******s!!
I woke up to 4 footprints over my Mondeo this morning. This was followed by the two on the Mrs's car last friday and what a surprise they are the same prints.
Luckily the it looks like the little gitslipped on the Mondeo in Friday and there was a massive clean patch...
Your a student paying over £200 a month for insurance!! Thats you first problem if your thinking about money.
I'd never pay more than £1000 insurance ever for any car.
Won't be on the logbook mate.
