My stock pedals are all worn out and the clutch is missing a few "clips" so when I press it it does a little metal against metal sound.
How much is a new set? Can I buy only the "plates" or renault sells the complete pedals?
Are there any aftermarket set that doesn't look rice or too racing?
Bridgestone Potenza Re050A 195/45/16 on a 172 FF...I think they are the best road tyre on the market in this size. I've got them on the mini in 205/45/17, too.
Good on dry and hot tarmac as weel as in the rain, stiff sidewalls with very direct steering, durable and not too expensive.
Robins, toe in always gives stability in a traight line and very fast corners, the car is less sensible to camber changes and the steering is more self-centering BUT usually turn in is slower and you lose a bit of traction out of the slow corners, you lose agility.
Many german cars have toe and...
Mine neither caister. I'm replacing springs and dampers at the end of the summer (eibach sportlines and new OEM dampers), so I'll fit new balljoints and new bushes too. It should fix the creaking and result in much better hnadling.
When I bought the car it had standard manifold, a fake kat, and a Remus Exhaust, it sounded nice and not too loud but it looked awful.
I took some acceleration times:
- 3"067 50-90 kph in 2nd gear
4"667 90-130 kph in 3rd gear

I don't think B8 are available for the RS, Bilstein makes only the PSS b14 kit. I've fitted the B8 to my father's volvo v50 which came with lowered springs when new, and it's perfect.
Apex Sport? I'm looking for a good road setup, not stiff as a brick because the roads here are pretty bad. I...
I have these, bought here, ready to fit, but I'm not sure what to do.
Koni Yellow are way too expensive.
My stock 172 FF shocks are old, even with standard springs they're are wobbly and wheel control is poor on bad tarmac, it's noisy too.
So the choice would be:
renew and re-set of my dampers...
I think i'm going to replace the ball joints when i'm fitting eibach springs and renewed/shortened shocks, the cars is knocking when turning the steering wheel at low speed and standing still.
How much are them? Do you think I should change something else (ARB bushes? Top mounts?)
Car is a 2002...
We should consider the geometry of the suspensions. They're made to work in a range of movements, lowering the car too much means that they work out of this range when they are compressed. You'll have poor handling, more tyre and bushes wear, you could even end up with a broken axle.
You should fit the internal temperature sensor somewhere..in the RS is in the ceiling light cluster...and i'm not sure if the manual controls have any mechanical link to divert cold/hot air or anything else. In the first BWM MINI you couldn't do it because of that.
I think it's not worth it...
That isn't bad at all! I'd stick it a bit higher, with the upper side on the same level as the clio badge, maybe it's a prospective thing?
I like the front RS badge too, from megane and gordini clio, i wonder how it's attached, if it's just glued on it coul be even better than this one.
You have to remove at least 2-3 kg to notice something...
Oz Ultraleggera and Alleggerita are light enough to spot the difference from stock wheels and maybe even from turinis, but they're studied for road use, so they're durable.
Stock 172/182 wheels are about 9-10 kg, OZ are around 6...if you...
I think i'll use it for the dashboard, hub steering wheel cover and the door mirror switch panel. I still want to see the suede and leather films, they weren't included.
I got this, It's the sample book. It's the actual film but in very small squares, can't wrap anything.
Somo photos from different agles to see the reflectiveness, colors etc:

Avoid the Highsports or the basic silverline (these are stainless steel and not zinc plated), they aren't adjustable in stiffness...
I'd go for Konigsport but use grease and tape...if you can afford the silverline-X maybe you could go for something better like KW2?
