A pictures would be useful...
Usually on a 182 you have: manifold 4-2-1 with the 1st lambda at the end of it, cat with the 2nd at the end, and then the catback.
As it is, only the front toe in is adjustable on the clio. You can fit eibach/H&R front camber bolts, to increase camber at the front, and shims at the rear to modify both camber and toe in.
The steering of the clio gives lot of information, you can feel every bump, camber change and small...
I've tried the Sparcos in a Mini GP, they're comfy and keep you in place better than the recaro trendline or sportster.
I'm 1.78 for 75 kg and I couldn't slide in any direction. They're not very reclined so with the clio steering wheel they should be ideal.
I'd suggest to try them, the seats go...
Recaro sportster CS are good too, fitted OEM to Clio 197/203, Megan 250, Mini JCW, Corsa OPC etc...
If you read evo, they fitted them to their V6 mk2.
They are available from renault in cloth and from recaro in cloth, leather and alcantara.
I'd give a look at sparco too, I like these, Sparco...
Which one in particular? Was it a racing system? I'll ask around tomorrow and let you know, if we still have the production masks shouldn't be a problem to make a batch of them.
You missed the NOW
I bought the k-tec more than a year ago, to replace a ghastly Remus DTM, to discover the the last one was a lot quieter. I was looking for a cheaper and ligher alternative to the OEM exhaust!
I started to work at SS 3 months ago, I know the quality of SS is so much...
I was wondering if it makes any difference, especially in drone. A friend of mine had a home made exhaust and when he went from stealt to straight under the bumper he noticed a big improvement, the car was a lot less noisy and no drone at all!
I'm asking because I bought a superstealth mild...
It's a little cat that goes between lambda sensor and exhaust, it catalyzes a small portion of the gas in contact with the sensor so it seems the cat is still on. It works on euro3/4 cars, not sure about 5.
There are seatbelts pre-tensioners too in the seats, in case of accident the belt latch retracts.
If you don't have the airbag light on you should detatch the battery for an hour or so, then put a resistance (not sure about W or ohm) where the wires connect to the seats.
But it doesn't have the handbrake alcantara cover!
I love it by the way, and i don't think it's flocked, seems real alcantara to mee. I agree with Daniel about cleaning, dust everywhere...
I went from a dekat to a sports kat (bought here for a very reasonably price), I didn't feel any difference in performance, and sound is pretty much the same too (superstealth k-tec...and it should be the quietest around, I guess it's a joke!)
I hoped to make it quieter but didn't. The smell is...
Thanks! I already asked cliospares but they seem to be in a bit of a mess, email and phone calls can't get through. ECP and GSF parts are available from?
Mine is a bit the same, I'm going to fit new bushes all around, balljoints (it creaks when turing the wheel), eibach springs and serviced and customized dampers. I hope to finally have precise steering feel, no bobbing in the fast corner and a much more safe handling.
Shoulde I buy arb, arm and steering bushes and balljoints from renault? Maybe Clio Spares here could be cheaper?
I hope to have a nice steering feel and a precise handling after all of this!
The car is a 172.
I'm fitting eibach sportlines with some serviced/shortened/stiffened OEM dampers, nothing extreme, the car is mainly used on bad sufaced roads.
I've got some knocking on the right wheels, should be the ball joint.
Should I replace both of them? Are they all the same for all...
