I'm selling my spare set of clio cup turini's as I was going to road register the track clio but I'm not going to bother now.
All four wheels have slight kurbing but all have nearly new (covered 200 miles max) budget brand tyres.

£20 for courier on way there, £275 for everything the box needed (was quite abit) £60 to get it back by courier (wanted it back here before the weekend)
Yeah did the swap myself and was quite surprised how easy it was to do.
Changed my oil and made no difference at all, but did a full trackday at donnington with just the grinding and the gearbox holding out to the very last lap, at that point it was also jumping out of 4th.
I ended up removing the gearbox myself and sending it off to agency transmissions as...

Need to do a little more stripping so fog lights can go but I'm gonna keep the stickers, never been a fan but these don't look to bad IMO just personal preference I suppose.
Well what a day I had yesterday, cracking weather and a really good turn out, I can officially say I've got the track bug!!! Love my little Clio lol really good car that really shows up higher powered cars.
The day went well and the gearbox held up all the way to the last lap when the chequered...
Hope so mate, done cam belt and kit, cam seal kit, dephaser pulley, oil and filter, yellow stuff pads front disks, rear disks and pads, A048's x4, front 15mm spacers and noticed the gearbox was grinding into 3rd gear so changed the box oil and hope that sorts it if not new gearbox for next...

I've bought a 172 for the track and after a good spirited drive I've found that the gearbox seems to grind on fast changes from 2nd into 3rd and then 3rd into 2nd, the car has been stood for about a year so just wondered if I could just get away with changing the Gearbox oil or does it...

Just had word back from the mechanic thats doing the work on my Clio and it needs front and back pads and disks so more money to spend :(
Haha cheers mate, I was going to have it MR 5 5PEN (Shane Spencer) but the wife drives it more than me :rolleyes: so thought it would be better as MR5 5PEN LOL.
