Yes dude, I recently had a problem with the olive joint clamp vibrating against heat shield on the right hand side of the exhaust tunnel, in my case the catalytic converter was bent to the right and down, it was about 10mm away at the closest point with the engine off.
Are you 100% sure...
might give it a go then :) my mot is in 2 weeks so ill get one to fit just after. its only a toy anyway and i dont do alot of miles.
popping sounds like a plus for me.
I have a janspeed system fitted, the poverty spec 2.25'' version without the centre silencer (http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1264&appid=2)
Has anybody else got this exhaust on their 182, if you have i would be very interested know if you preferred the sound after you decatted...
Nice article, try the following:
Ecu bracket, its about 30-40 mm long and made from 1mm steel and is prone to fatigue and eventually cracks.
Alternator stay bar, a long aluminum support bracket that goes between the alternator and engine block, to diagnose this put your hand on it whilst an...
Recently done my Mrs clutch, it was a ph2 1.2 and I dropped the subframe to do it. I found it fairly simple as I had a hefty assistant and a impact ratchet which absorbed time. It took 8 hours collectively over a weekend which I think is ok for my first clutch.
My question is, considering the...
Open the oil filler cap and check to see if the camshaft rotates when the engine is turning over
If you can't see movement = start saving.
Any eml on dash?
You sound like me worrying about nothing. unless it sounds like an fh12 on tickover, its probably fine. The engine is tappy by nature especially when hot.
As Dan pointed out , he has seen multiple 182s with the regular arms, indicating that quite possibly they were fitted as standard. And assuming I have these standard arms at present, will replacing them with 172 cup arms be problematic considering the available arch space when running 16's.
All well and good on turinis, but on 182 alloys I'm not sure. I had a look on mine and arch clearance at the closest point is 20mm. Would this be an issue if I get the 172 arms?
And I bet those arms are the ones they left the factory with? Excluding the possibility of wrong ones being fitted on all 3.
Did you replace them with the extra castor 172 arms?
