I've been out in a st, much more linear engine which is good for daily driving, bit make it go past 6k and it turns into the asthmatic nerd on sports day!
That aside, the interior is abit more inspiring than the clio.
Hi guys,
I'm doing the missus clutch in the next few days and would greatly appreciate some pointers :)
I've got the kit and new gb oil on order on order and have 99% of everyman tools and provisions. Is there anything special needed for the 1.2?
I will most probably be doing the job on axle...
Dude, I need a new sender as my fuel level fluctuates, im in no rush to sort it but if you struggle to sell it on ill have it. Assuming its ph2.
Edit: just read and its ph1 late.
Because its Renault.
Questionable logic, ripoffs and so on. You know the one..
Edit: i might just be angry at the fact I had to part with 5 quid for an effing pinchbolt...
You rotten b*****d, I think ive shat out an organ!
I have had it de swirled before and the guy said 'you've got a straight one'
I'll take it back to him and get him to look at it though.
On closer inspection it looks a bit dark to be lacker, almost like somthings been spilt on there. It...
I've got ps3 all round, they are very confidence inspiring in the wet, and grip hard for a summer tyre. Not a hardcore option though as I think they feel a bit less responsive on turn in compared to the exalto. For the money, they do wear pretty well though, my fronts are 3mm ish after I got...
A discrete blip on a dual isn't going to bother anybody, and if you manage to stay with your bros 182 and not get left, you can go home happy knowing your car is making reasonable power and you have saved on dyno costs ;)
Is your 172 a cup? If not that could be the 'disconnect' in the experience. Giving the illusion the car is slower because its softer if that makes sence? To prove this do a roughly timed 20 to 60 in each car. If anything is super wrong you would notice then.
Get an axle stand or similar, place track rod end onto it and get a pair of mole grips onto the track rod end and clamp to stand. Then with a spanner and hammer try to beat backnut loose. For the end, steelson adjustable onto the rod and sitting on ground, then molegrips + large tube to unwind end.
Hi guys, I need to sort out my cat as its bent and sagged on the olive joint.
I have 2 ideas which I would very much appreciate some speculation on:
Grind a relief 90% of the way down from the inside of the bent joint and correct the displacement then weld.
Or
Have off with the olive, get...
It will fit, most exhausts come supplied with a sleeved adaptor where the centre section meets the cat to make it possible. However disturbing this joint equals ballache as it never seals right again.
Same, my rear bumper spouts 2 nipples when things get warm. I have a feeling it coincides with my epically sagging cat and fecked upper gearbox mount that I haven't got round to changing.
