UPDATE! cleaned all the plugs up and checked all the connections, fireed it up and let it tick over for about 40mins took it for a drive and all fixed! Takes abit to rev (seems to be holding back) ordering up some new plugs, leads and coilpack - so it will be like new. Can lock thread now :D

update - I have had a look at all the spark plugs this morning and found some slight water on them when I pulled them out. Ran the car for a good 10 mins, came to give it some revs and it seemed ok. but then started up again. Checked the coil pack to see if they were all firing and they are.

Right I washed the car today, thought I'd have a go at the engine too, cleaned it all up with engine cleaner - sprayed WD on the electrics and when rised off lightly sprayed water over engine. Left the car running for 5-10 mins. later this evening I came to start the car..fine! set off down the...
