yeah apparently michelin had offers on up to 30% off! ended monday though
I did have toyo's on my 172 cup good tires but thought i'd try something different.
well I 'think' I may have sorted out tyres!
Camskills - £102 fitted or £95.50 suppied
ATS (only down the road from work) - 106.25 fitted, 95.63 supplied
Wheels refurb - £195 - OR £225 with them fitting tyres
That is Michelin tyres, conti SP2 are £15 cheaper which I was deabating on...
bit for me to travel to the nearest store. Think camskills are the cheapest so far! if I take my wheels to them, as I am getting them refurbed they said I could have the tires for £81 each fitted! :D seen as they don't have to remove the old tires
Going to get 4 new tyres and wondering where is the cheapest place to buy them from? Camskill do them fro £91 each which I thought was good.
size is 205/45/16v

I know there an expensive bit of kit! but I had one on my old cup and when I came back to the clio world again - It was the 1st thing I was hunting for! well worth it, the noise too is great!
Great pics Piers!great meeting everyone too - sorry for the quick exit at the end of the meet! lol :o was trying to see where everyone went but couldnt see! ended up on the road home! then got a phone call off ben asking where I was haha!
Was a great run out -and great the weather stayed...
Look out for second hand ones, there seems to be loads for sale recently. Scorpion 192 exhaust is nice. Also cheap too! I was debating selling my orbisoud to free up some extra cash, but I'll be asking alot more than £300 plus I don't think I could due to the noise it makes!
Will everything on the computer be wiped clean if I send to get repaired??
As I have LLOOOAAADDSS of pics! which I don't really want deleating!
is it worth repairing or just buying a new laptop as it only cost me around £500ish
No its a Toshiba, had it for a couple of years now - been a great little laptop for what I needed, I left it on charge all last ngt came to it just now and nothing!
Was working fine yesterday when uploading pics, then pressed the button to make it 'sleep' went out for the day, took it though to my mrs turned it on and noticed that the sleep light wasn't flashing? Pressed the button again.....nothing! Pluged it into the wall thinking battery was dead. Lights...
Off topic here - But your car came from the same place I got mine!....well the last owner did anyway! mine starts with RJ and has the dealer plates on too lol :)
as someone mentioned....Trophys DO look alot better in the flesh! looks clean though ;)
yep! no wire cutting - just 'plug and play' as they say! but if you get them set up right and are not blinding other road users they will be fine. Mine aren't dazzling to on-coming traffic.
My mrs is always on my insurance old 172cup, 265bhp LCR :D - brings it down and also handy when I can't be bothered to drive!
But shes not on the Trophy as it put it up?! but for no extra cost when she turns 25 in aug she can be put on.
I can drive her Loop GTI anytime though haha ;)
Leave yourself 'PLENTY' of time!! I thought it was going to take a couple of mins to fit - turned into a few hrs!
I decided to remove my headlights totally as the Air Con pipes were in the way and it was going to be a tight fit :dapprove:
-Jacked car up
-Removed BOTH front wheels
-Removed...
Just had to mod the holder to make sure all the wires passed though the holder the cliped the holder in the back of the headlight got a few pics of how I did the change - pics to follow
yep! same as the 172 cup too... I will take some pics later at ngt and put them up.
When I fitted mine I did the ful bumper off job, headlight out etc....to make a neat job from it.
Fitted a set in my trophy, set up in it is fine - No one has flashed me as they have been set up correctly. My friend is an MOT tech and he looked at them and said they are fine!
They say your supposed to have headlight washers and auto leveling etc... but as long as they aren't shining up to...
The yellow one is the battery and the red is the power - they both go into the connector but the 'red' has a break in the wire where you can route it to something else
hmmmm I got the head unit and speakers fitting by the company I bought the stereo off. So they might have changed something. I was just having a go at fitting it save some cash - and easy enough to do. Just won't turn on when turn the key?
