dont think a cars import status will affect 2nd hand value, I wouldnt worry about it. Mines an import...from France!

oh btw when the esp is off traction control is off also.

Press the ESP switch, when the warning triangle is lit permenantly your in fun mode (ESP off) when the light flickers on and off thats the traction control kicking in

deffo tourque steer. Try booting it in 1st with the ESP on then with it off. If its 10 times worse with ESP off then its tourque steer, if its the same you may have a problem.

If your afcter a pioneer one I have one you can have it for £35, couldnt be arsed to fit it!

bumping or trying to jump start cars can spike immobilisrs, specially cliffords (Mine did it 3 times - had it disabled in the end) that might be something to do with it?

In the back of autotrader look for people that specialise in digital dashes they will be able to correct it for you. I know someone who had a rover done (but the other way ;))

Ive had a load of probs with mine too Steve. Latest one is a banging coming from the suspension. Booked in for January. Reno need the car two days so feck knows whats going on!

highest Ive had mine was 65 MPG! This was doing about 30 in 5th just for a laugh, soon settled doen tho hehe. When I forst got my 172 I didnt reset the computer for about 6 months and the average over all that time was 32 MPG

and you drive it so carefully too! clutches eh??

bet GDI dont do a 200 conversion without toucing the zorst and ECU then!

you missed one very impoortant car out. VX220 Turbo. Supercar performance and would piss on evos and scoobs. Might be a vauxhall but IMO its one of the best cars in production at the moment.

try a car audio/security specialist. The renno one is probably made by a manufacturer like clifford or toad and rebranded renno.

crikey looks like a fire extinguisher would be a wise investment for 172 owners!
