Nah cups have had rave reviews all over the place and will deffo go down as a classic hot hatch. In a way its good that productions stopped as it will make them more sought after

Think they come out of the factory with crap paint. I have two oversprays on mine but theyre small so Ive left them rather than risking reno making them worse.

For being a pretty ground breaking car (if you can class shelves on the back of seats and cubby holes as ground breaking) its got to be the scenic. Basically that car invented the MPV so it historically quite a mould breaker!

I would keep it as a low use second car. Keep it standard and as mint as poss. If I could get insurance for about 500 quid a year on one I would do just that myself.
Optimax is 98% marketing. It makes no difference to how fast your car goes. My 1/4 mile times at york were the same on asda unleaded as they were on optimax. Result is I only ever fill up at asda now.
Im not dissing folk who use mobil 1 and optimax. Its nice to "feel" like yout looking after...
Was reading Evo today baout the 182, they seem to have kille doff the idea of the cup which is a crying shame. The "cup" spec 172 is gonna be 14 fekkin grand! Suppose it will make the current cups a bit more specialer.

It costs about £500 to set up a PDQ machine to accept cards, so if they are a new company they might not take cards for that reason (also businesses have to pay between 3 and 7% of transaction values to the card issuers on every transaction) if they are a cheap as chips type outfit they might...
